Contrary to popular belief, Cheryl, we do not sit around and think on Thinking Day! It is a day to gather as Girl Scouts and learn about different countries and other Scouts around the world.
We had a group of kids (1 boy) come in and do some Scottish and Irish dances for us. The girls really enjoyed this!

That sounds like a great day. I love learning about other cultures...fascinating.
So, why is it called Thinking Day? Is there a reason/story behind it? I would think it was a day to "think" as well...Is there a story? or no?
Anyway...glad the girls enjoyed it! What a great experience.
Looks like a neat experience. I'm still thinking that "thinking" for a whole day is way too much for anyone, let alone a kid. Just my thoughts though! ☺
