It's hard to see in the picture but this is what happens when you are practicing Goalie in Soccer Practice and your coach takes a shot and the ball hits you in the face!! Wearing braces makes the damage much worse too! Poor Katie!

I'd much rather she be hit in the mouth than in the eyes ... although, a black eye on a girl is always something to talk about! :) Hope she's feeling ok!
