Last weekend, Katie was invited, by her friend Hailey, to attend a play that her Dad was in and then spend the night. The play was The Penultimate Problem of Sherlock Holmes. The play was perfect timing because it fits right into the theme for her DI Challenge this year, Private DI. Sherlock Holmes is one of the characters that they are researching!

At school on Friday, they were giving out roses to people that had had flowers purchased for them. The funds raised go to helping out the ASB. Katie was given two flowers. One by a boy who shall remain nameless and the other was from a friend!

Last night we had my brother and my parents over for dinner while my brother is in town. We took this opportunity to take some pictures. My dad is looking much better.
