Gord was signed up for the Skagit Flats Marathon this morning and despite being a beautiful day it wasn't Gord's day.
I got the call at Mile 16 that he couldn't continue. He had a huge blister on one foot and plantar fasciitis on the other and it was too painful to run.
Well, I didn't have a map of the course but I just went to the finish line and followed runners backwards. I finally spotted him at Mile 19.
We'll see what happens on October 7th for the First Annual Bellingham Marathon. Onward and Upwards!!

Well heck, there's only so much you can do when you're human ... hope he feels better soon!
We're proud of you for getting that far, Gord!
Yikes! Looks painful! I am sure he will rock the Bham Marathon! Hope he feels better soon.
